Kings Lynn & District Motor Club Announces 47th Annual Classic Car Run
Kings Lynn & District Motor Club (KLDMC) is delighted to invite classic car enthusiasts to take part in the 47th Annual Classic Car Run, taking place on Sunday, 27th July 2025. This much-anticipated event promises a day of scenic motoring, camaraderie, and automotive heritage.
This year’s run will begin at High Lodge in Thetford Forest, courtesy of Forest England, where participants will enjoy a welcoming breakfast roll and coffee before setting off on a picturesque route through Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
At midday, participants will arrive at The Belfry Hotel in Cambourne for a well-earned break. Here, drivers and passengers can choose between a delicious carvery lunch or the option to relax on the lawns with their own picnic.
The final leg of the journey will take participants on a leisurely drive to Ely, concluding in the beautiful grounds of King’s School, just a stone’s throw from the magnificent Ely Cathedral in the heart of this historic Fenland city.
The event is open to classic cars of all ages and interesting modern vehicles, with various class awards available, including:
- Year-based class awards
- Best-dressed participants in period-appropriate attire
- Car of the Day, voted for by attendees
