Welcome to November Full Chat we started off the month with Paul & Ed Haylock’s Great Oktober 12 car club night, which attracted 8 expert teams and 1 beginner team. It started and finished at the Runcton Holme Social Club, with hot food & sandwiches for the competitors and marshals while results were compiled.
During October we were informed about the sad loss of Mark Sheffield’s wife Sharon, there will be a celebration of Sharon’s life at the Banquet Hall, Hockwold Hall, Station Road, Hockwold Cum Wilton IP26 4HZ on 16 November 4.30 onwards if any members would like to attend. The club sends its condolences.
It’s been a bit of a quiet month with no other members out doing events, Paul and Janet Smalley did attend the RACC Catalunya Rally in Salou 18/19 October. They rally used the promenade stage on Friday night and again on Saturday, then all other stages were on the loose.
Our next club night 12 car will be on 13th November starting from Gt Massingham Social Club organised by Paul & David Smalley, Contact Paul.smalley@kier.co.uk he still has a few spaces left for late comers.
Our Christmas Quiz is on 4th December starting at 7.30pm, venue Runcton Holme Social Club, teams of up to 4 entry fee of £3.00 per person, if you would like to put a team together contact Paul & Helen Haylock: treasurer@kingslynndmc.co.uk by 27th November.
